Bodies in Motion at The School for Contemporary Dance & Thought
The Bodies In Motion Festival is modeled after A.P.E.'s 15 year movement series in the Thornes Market building, 3rd Floor. A monthlong series of weekend workshops and performances, this year's festival offers a TEEN DANCE WEEKEND, hosts over 15 Artists in Residence, and focuses on diverse approaches to dance as a performative art, including improvisation, contemporary performance, hip hop, and modern. Presented by local, national, and internationally acclaimed artists, these performances and workshops provide students and professionals alike with the unique opportunity to engage with highly regarded and innovative artists in the field of dance today.
MOPDC will be presenting their residency explorations of a new work-in-progress "The Only Truth is Change OR Winter of Our Discontent."

MOPDC's Winter Intensive FREE Studio Sharing + Celebration
Movement of the People Dance Company presents our 6th Annual Winter Intensive Studio Sharing + Celebration. Join our Choreography Lab Choreographers, Company Rep Dancers, and MOPDC in an evening of innovative dance theater rooted in Socially Conscious Choreography. This year we are taking some time to celebrate our 14h year and individuals who have lifted us up in our journey. Engage in the conversation on art and activism.
